Easter Holidays Workshops Summary

Exciting News! We have just expanded the gym by taking the warehouse next door. This effectively allowed us to take the wall down and open up to a much bigger and more open space combined! Ultimately we’ve been successful in adding more fun gymnastics equipment to the mix – such as the popular 8-meter long trampoline (which keeps all the kids busy and having lots of fun). This project has all been executed in time for the Easter School Holidays and Term 2 classes.

About: This workshop provides a good balance of fun and learning! There will be a mix of kids attending (those that have very little experience to those that want to progress & master skills they’re currently working on). Either way, we’ll have your child covered with the help of our experienced coaching team.

Following a structured warm-up, we’ll divide the kids up into groups (based on age and or experience) and begin to work through several rotations that focus on helping the kids learn new tumbling related skills (via utilising the 8-meter long trampoline, inflatable air tumbling tracks and other useful equipment). We will also have a rotation that works on key foundations in strength (lower body and core in particular) as well as handstands & positioning – which are all very important when it comes to learning to tumble. Each hour the kids will take a snack break, and we’ll always include plenty of fun games to mix things up!

About: This workshop is a fun introduction to the basics of gymnastics (no previous experience required). Groups will be split up by gender and focus on the key gymnastics apparatuses coupled with strength, games, obstacle courses, and other fun activities. We always like to strike the balance between learning and having fun!

  • Boys will get on the rings and bars to learn new tricks, get upside down, swing, and show off their strength! They will also get plenty of opportunities to jump around, learn basic tumbles, work on their handstands and have plenty of fun with games and little competitions!
  • Girls will work largely on tumbling skills, handstands, flexibility and also have fun getting on the bars, rings and beam to swing and learn other skills.

Overall the key is to learn new skills, move, and have plenty of fun in the process. Each hour we’ll give the kids a snack break and include some fun games with prizes to mix things up!

About: This workshop is an extension of our weekly school term classes – which is all about strength, handstands, movement & fun!
The kids will go through a series of strength-related exercises, fun obstacle courses and learn new skills (i.e handstands, swings on the bars/ rings, and tumbling on the trampoline and inflatable air tracks). This is all part of getting kids to stay fit and healthy over the school holidays period coupled with having a fun all-around experience!

Groups will be broken up based on gender and or age. Each hour the kids will take a snack break, and we’ll always include plenty of fun games to mix things up!

General Information

1. Up to 40 kids maximum per workshop
2. Workshops will be divided up into groups (and rotate through experienced coaches), based on age/ gender/ experience (different for each workshop)
3. No prior experience is required for any of the workshops. At the end of the day, it’s all about learning and having fun whilst keeping the kids active with something productive to do.
